Clients are taught how to use basic word processing and accounting programs and to access information on the internet. The computer lab is also used by the centers' English language and job placement programs. Students are taught to use software to complete vocabulary building and grammar exercises outside of the classroom while job seekers are helped to create and edit their resumes.

Civics Instruction
The Ansob Center offers civics instruction for community members hoping to obtain U.S. citizenship. Two thirds of the coursework is devoted to the study of American History and Government. The remaining class time is spent teaching our clients how to register, how to vote, and how to gather information about candidates and issues important to them. Staff help all program participants to complete the paperwork necessary to apply for citizenship.
