| The Ansob Center has been responding to the service
and community needs of refugees and immigrants for more than ten years.
Our clients arrive in America highly traumatized and disoriented,
forced out of their homeland as a result of warfare, ethnic cleansing,
and political persecution. The Ansob Center helps its clients to develop
the concrete skills required for long term self reliance and provides
community members with a safe haven in which to share their experiences.
The center is located in Astoria, Queens.
To help refugees and immigrants begin
the process of rebuilding their lives here in the United States
the Ansob center offers Direct
Services as well as help with Community
Organizing.
